The Northern College of the Arts and Technology focuses on contemporary practices across performing arts, visual arts, design, photo-imaging and media disciplines.
Our arts curriculum embraces new media technologies and traditional art forms, from artwork production through to generating an audience for a product. This contemporary approach ensures skills development in alignment with the creative arts industry, university and TAFE expectations.
The College provides one of Victoria’s broadest VET offerings; students can integrate a VET arts certificate within Year 10, VCE or VCAL qualifications to cultivate artistic expression and abilities. With a highly successful record in opening pathways for TAFE or tertiary education, the College inspires existing students through regular visits from former students and a variety of practising artists who have achieved high esteem and successful careers in the arts.
