The 2023 graduating students from NCAT Create’s renowned Diploma of Visual Arts recently held their graduate exhibition, “LEAP”. The exhibition was one of the largest held at the NCAT Gallery space with over 120 artworks from the graduating students on show.
Artworks displayed made up the body of work produced by the graduates in the final semester of the two-year course. The Diploma has been designed for mature aged students who are seeking to build or update skills in the visual arts. The quality of work was exceptional, and the launch of the exhibition hosted over two hundred people to view and purchase the exhibited works. Visitors to the show took the opportunity to snap up one third of the artworks of these talented emerging artists – many of whom have already gone on to produce and exhibit work in galleries throughout Melbourne since finishing the course.
In an NCAT record, over 55 artworks were sold to the value of approximately $8000! We wish the CREATE class of 2023 every success and fulfilment in their creative careers.
