Certificate IV Photography Students Raise Money for Save the Children

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Schoolhouse Studios on Friday 2nd August for ‘Meraki’, a silver gelatin print exhibition and silent auction organised by Certificate IV and Diploma students studying Tertiary Photography at NCAT. It was an incredible turn out and show of support for our students by friends, family, former students and members of the public. Students raised $1,332 for Save the Children through the 70-silver gelatin prints that made up the silent auction.

Certificate IV students were responsible for all planning, organisation, communication, marketing and artwork production for their first group exhibition of the year. They worked well as a team throughout the exhibition process and sequenced and installed all 70 prints themselves.

Save the Children Are the world’s leading independent organisation for children, who work to ensure children have healthcare, food and shelter, as well as learning and child protection services when children need it the most
