Raffaela Galati-Brown

Raffaela’s contributions to the College span over 30 years, from her initial engagement as English, Social Studies and Humanities teacher to her appointment as Principal of the College in 1991. Over the past 20 years, Raffaela has won a number of awards for the College; gaining state-wide and national recognition for leadership in Technology and Design, expanding the College’s service capacity to regional provider of Vocational Education to over 400 students from 39 State and private schools. Raffaela was instrumental in harnessing the support of eight other colleges to establish ‘Lead College’ status, attracting $11.7 million in stating funding for the new Trade Training Centre. As a result, the College has the most extensive state-of-the-art Technology facilities in Victoria.
