Danielle Joughin

Danielle has a passion for teaching and passing on the industry knowledge she has acquired working as a commercial wedding photographer and Jazz vocalist.
Her love of being creative across various disciplines is the reason why she loves working at NCAT. 

As a musician, some of her performances include; live on ABC Radio, Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Mordialloc Food festival, VCA Open Day, ANZ, Miele for Shannon Bennett, MCG, The National Gallery, Crown Metropole, Crown Palladium and Melbourne Museum. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Photography), Bachelor of Music (Jazz Improvisation), Advance Diploma Music Performance, Diploma Vocational Education and Training, Cert IV in TAE and a Master of Teaching. Danielle is also a Director of a not-for-profit in the Adult Literacy sector.

On sunny Sundays you can find her tinkering in her art studio, exploring shapes and colour, mucking around on the piano or selling hand made products at the market.
Danielle was the recipient of a Victorian Innovation Grant by the Victorian Government for her work with product design and development, where she won The Melbourne Design Award for best new consumer product.
