Anne Connors

Anne trained in Fine art, in Tasmania and Victoria, majoring in painting and printmaking.  After graduating, she began a career as a practising artist, exhibiting internationally and nationally for over two decades. Her work is represented in private collections and major public galleries around Australia. During this time, she also taught in Fine Art and Design programs at Deakin University, Warrnambool campus, RMIT, Victoria University and Swinburne University.

In 2008 Anne decided to move over to the secondary education sector and completed a Masters of Teaching (Secondary) at Melbourne University. She taught at a number of private schools in Melbourne before starting at NCAT in 2014 where she now teaches VCE Product design and Studio Art as well as teaching in the Folio Preparation program. Anne said that teaching at NCAT has provided her with an amazing opportunity to teach both secondary and post- secondary students in a unique educational environment which she loves.
