The Arts

NCAT focuses on contemporary practices across the performing and visual arts disciplines
Our arts curriculum embraces new media technologies alongside traditional art forms, from artwork production through to generating an audience for a product. This contemporary approach ensures skills development in alignment with the creative arts industry and university and TAFE expectations.
NCAT provides one of Victoria’s broadest VET offerings; students can integrate their arts based VET certificate within Year 10, VCE or VCAL qualifications to cultivate artistic expression and broad abilities. With a highly successful record in opening pathways for TAFE or tertiary education, the College inspires students through regular visits from former students and a variety of practising artists who have achieved high esteem and successful careers in the arts.
