We are incredibly proud of all of our Year 12 students this year across our Art Immersion, Pre-app, Vocational Major Enterprise and VCE programs. We would like to recognise the exceptional achievements of 4 of our VCE students:
Finn (Year 12 2025) has been an integral part of the NCAT community for the past 3 years. Finn scored a 40 in Music Inquiry and 30+ study score in 5 other subjects over 2024/2025, resulting in an ATAR of 84.8. This is of particular significance as Finn had 4 Music subjects contributing to his ATAR – Music Inquiry, Music Contemporary Performance, VET Music Performance and VET Sound Production, showcasing how unique NCAT is in being able to offer such an array of subjects in areas of passion, while still helping students to reach academic goals and excellence.
Maeve (Year 11 2025) who scored a perfect 50 in VET Music Performance, placing her at the top of the state in this subject. Maeve worked tirelessly with her teachers this year to ensure she delivered the best vocal performances possible, taking on all feedback and advice, and demonstrating the discipline of engaging a daily practice routine which clearly made all the difference.
Bonnie (Year 11 2025) who performed alongside Maeve in the exam and scored a remarkable 43 study score in VET Music Performance. Bonnie moved to NCAT from country Victoria this year to have more opportunities to study Music. She is a quiet achiever who has recorded some of her original compositions this year, one of which she was able to perform for her exam. (not pictured)
Chella (Year 11 2025) who scored a 45 in Visual Communication Design and a 43 in General Mathematics, placing her in a very good position as she heads into year 12 to complete her other subjects. Chella is an outstanding student who sets the bar high in everything she does. She has an absolute thirst for knowledge and is completing as many subjects as she can over her time at NCAT to take in as much as possible. We look forward to seeing what Chella can produce in 2026 and beyond.
